Move over, Usher — there’s a new “Mr. Steal Yo’ Girl” in town

Just when we thought Usher was the girl stealingest man in the industry, Chris Brown decided to go on tour.

Indeed, despite rumors of his alleged cancellation, his latest tour shows us that he’s anything but.

Personally, I’ve never been the biggest Chris Brown fan. I did like some of his earlier tracks, but most of his latest music is not my cup of tea. Additionally, he also has a history of colorism and abusing women. So, there’s that.

At the same time, I’m not suggesting anyone cancel him. I’ve said many times that I believe most entertainers are some of the worst people on the planet, and if you’re going to enjoy any music or art, you have to separate the art from the artist, at least to some extent.

So, whether you choose to support his artistry is totally up to you.

When it comes to musicians, the phrase “never meet your heroes” rings true. I discussed this more in my story about Brian McKnight.
