While we are 100 days from securing a historic win, let’s pause for a moment to recognize the immediate victory, and all that it represents, of Vice President Kamala Harris securing the Democratic nomination for President of the United States.

Pause and realize that Kamala Harris, a Black woman, has single-handedly secured the Democratic nomination without a Vice President and before Black America’s walking savior, Barack Obama, endorsed her. (I’m halfway joking on the savior part…)

At this very moment, Vice President Kamala Harris, a brilliant, Black, accomplished, HBCU-educated, experienced, woman, career attorney, and national leader, is standing alone on the Democratic ticket with the country on her shoulders.

Take. This. In.

Now, let’s look at the unprecedented, record-breaking support she has received, beginning in the first 24 hours of her bid for President.

Rightfully so, Black women stepped up first to support our sister. Win With Black Women hosted a virtual call and raised over 1 million dollars in two hours just 24 hours after Harris’ campaign for President was announced.

Since then, we have seen tens of thousands of Black men, White women, the Pride community…
