The Breakfast Club is a popular radio show from WWPR-FM Power 105.1 in New York City. The show debuted in December 2010 for only the local New York audience and syndicated in April 2013. Many listeners, including myself, watch the show on YouTube for its exclusive interviews with entertainers and politicians, urban news reports, and special segments such as Donkey of the Day.

The show has won several awards and was inducted in the Radio Hall of Fame.

Since its inception, The Breakfast Club has featured three hosts: two men and one woman. In February 2024, after a year-long search, comedian Jess Hilarious replaced Angela Yee as the sole woman host of the show.

Six months after being hired, Jess Hilarious took a few months (August to November/December) to welcome her baby girl. While on maternity leave, Loren Lorosa, one of the show’s producers, filled in for Jess. It is important to note that Jess chose Loren to fill in for her while on maternity leave.
