The Colleges are Picking Up the Protest

It was a normal day in May 2024. In mainstream media, numerous college campuses in America have anti-genocide protests pertaining to the effects of Israel’s aggression toward Palestinians in Gaza. My conservative work buddy was steadily watching Fox News, as always, in a small internet window on his computer.

As I’m a civilian now (retired military), I can proudly wear my secondary position as a protest photojournalist. I don’t speak too much about what I do in my off-time, but I am known as the most knowledgeable about protests and street engagements. So yeah, sure, most times, my work buddies will ask me what I think (and mostly mean, what I feel) about various protests.

I was an early observer of this genocide. In fact, I knew what the Israeli response to October 7th was going to be before they executed their first post-October 7th strike. Zionists want the land; they want to eradicate Palestinians in the same manner whites wanted to push away and kill Native Americans in the United States.
