An Example to Illustrate Why This Makes No Sense
Let’s say Keshia has a routine of running errands on a Friday. Typically, she buys groceries and household items and puts gas in her car. This usually totals about $300.
If Keshia decides to participate in the Blackout Boycott, DEI Boycott, or whatever you want to call it and decides to run her errands on Thursday or Saturday instead of Friday, what difference did Keshia make? She still paid the same $300 except she did it on Thursday or Saturday instead of Friday. The businesses still get the revenue.
