Redshift

Objective truth is the black hole around which our language, theories, and models attempt to orbit at an ever increasing speed and proximity. Yet if academics and scientists were ever to reach the event horizon of objective truth, the transmission of their knowledge to laypersons would thereby become impossible: to the outside observer, the proclamations of science and academia disappear into gravitational redshift.
