I can be obtuse

due to my own ignorant assumptions, I thought Medium was still Xitters siamese twin. This is not a bad assumption as in the before times you needed a twitter account to join. This is no longer the case

This link can be further demonstrated by a vestigial “post to twitter” link on the sidebar. It’s status as “vestigial” is shown in that no one bothered to rename it “post to X”. (Is it just me, or do other people see a giant X on the ground,an ominous impinging shadow and a coyote with a small sign that says “help!”)

Somebody with a stronger grasp on social media (and probably reality in general) helped me get this back after I became disgusted with substack’s nazi subsidy program.
