This is a silly poem

I don’t know why I wrote it

I had nothing better to write

So I wrote this silly poem ..

At my appointed daily time

I opened my journal to write

But not having much inspiration

I wrote this silly poem ..

I do write often

And sometimes I do write well

But when sometimes I can’t

I end up with silly poems ..

I’m sure I’ll write better tomorrow

When I have something to say

But today excuse me please

And make do with this silly poem ..

You are a friend aren’t you?

You won’t judge me today

Will roll your eyes but

Laugh at my silly poem .. ! (I hope)
