On a rural country road, there it stood — a lone sunflower. Sol shined down brightly as it tilted face up, basking in the sun. Completely encircled by other pretty yellow noxious plants — ragweed, but it paid them no attention. It grew outside their influence and flourished despite having none of its fellows around.
