Remembering a day well spent !!

A splendid subvocal voice wishes me my birthday,
as the strokes of the clock tick in the middle of the night,
As if some force pushing me to dive again yet emerge strong every day
while relishing the reel of cheerful, naughty, crazy, stupid and moments of might

WhatsApp, Facebook all eager with enthusiasm to ping me all day,
and messages wake up the phone, to wish me a very happy birthday,

The day reminds me of my existence,
Motivates me to sustain perseverance, persistence,

The day, freshen up life’s rollercoaster ride,
The troughs between the ridges,
The few times of “not giving a f*ck”, and the spiritual bridges,
Overwhelming to raise a toast in the name of pride,

Parents, Relatives, Friends, all with zest,
Wish me for the best
