Recently I have decided to take the initiative to live a healthier lifestyle. Drink more water, less soda, eat more fruits and vegetables and overall make healthier decisions. Doing this daily has allowed me to make it habit, and therefore be more successful. This is why you should do something every day.

Make it a Priority

Want to do something like meditate (here’s a link to my favorite meditation app) or gratitude journal every single day? You need to make it a priority. I add my gratitude journaling as an event in my phone and on my daily planner every single day, and I get it done, every day. When you take the time to make something important in your day, it is more likely that you’ll get it done.

Zapier has an amazing article, How to Ruthlessly Prioritize Tasks to Get More Done. how to prioritize when everything seems important. I love their recommendation to analyze your list, decide what you can do now, and what you don’t need to do it all. Sometimes my list is more wishful thinking than anything, so throwing things off my to do list can be helpful some day.

Keep Track

Once you know what you want to accomplish each day, make a point to keep track of it. I’m addicted to buying new stationery, so I would buy a new journal, but do what works best for you. If that means marking it off…
