I twirl my umbrella,

making the drops meant to drench me

look beautiful.

The silver lining likes to remain hidden. It hates being termed as obvious.

Beauty, Joy, Contentment, too, are elusive and do not like hanging out in plain sight.

That’s where perspective comes in. It hands us the binoculars through which we can spot them easily.

Let’s extend our minds to welcome perspective in.

Let’s make it easy for it to build a home in us so that we always have somewhere to return to , when we ache for some comfort.

Let’s request perspective to create some silver and golden linings for us .

Let’s be open to spot them when it does.
