Finding Your Tribe
Almost no one has a tribe. But what we get to do as creators & leaders is to show up and tell a different story that resonates with the tribe that already exists.
A popular example would be people who read Seth Godin’s blog have a particular type of worldview. They already have an idea that connects them together. If Seth chooses not to write any more blog posts there would be other people like you and I, who would write for a small group of people who would be drawn to our message, connected by the message, and would share with friends.
The sweet spot is to find this group of people who already have an idea that connects them and who need something new to talk about and to experience.
And after they encounter your idea and they don’t want to spread it, the alternative is to find a new group or come up with a new idea or story.
