Five Question Marks

on uncertainty and everything else

Isn’t it hard to keep
going, when you don’t
even know what
to look forward to?

Isn’t it tough to keep
walking, when you can’t
even see the path you
have put yourself into?

Are we still going to
be there, trying to
live day by day, while not
having much of a single clue?

What tomorrow would be,
what next week would bring,
would all of this be over
in next two months, or
would it even take us
another year?

So tell me, in the midst
of this growing uncertainty
will you still stand with me
in the belief of a brighter day,
recovering places, restored
safety and hopefully better
humanity, my dear?
