For frenemies:

…arguing.
…shouting.
…talking politics.
…touching my hair.

For the holiday dinner cook:
Stop. I can’t eat another bite.

In the Car:
Stop —
— I forgot to turn off the oven.
— I forgot to lock the door.
— the recycle bin’s in the driveway.
— squirrel!
— you just missed the turn.
— the light’s red.
— one-way street.
— you’re gonna hit that car.
— there’s a McDonald’s.

In bed:
Stop fidgeting.
Stop hugging the covers.
Stop reading your phone.
