I wish

I wish it was easy.
I wish I was rich, healthy and sexy.
I wish my company to be successful.
I wish, I wish, I wish.
“I wish it was different” is another way of saying that you don’t like the situation and prefer somebody else to change it. But not you. It is still bearable for you to tolerate it, so yeah, just I wish.
“I wish” is a responsibility transfer, you kinda want it but not enough to do it, so you transfer it to something else — chance, luck, God.
“I wish” is a lousy way to make something happen. You don’t make a difference with sentences starting with “I wish”. “I am going to” is another thing. Now you intend to do something to change things and probably make them better.
I wish you liked this post.
