It’s Really in the Tiny Drops
Listen a bit
I think I’m going crazy because I got the idea of this article listening to water from the tap drip. I didn’t close the tap properly, and those tiny drops kept echoing.
At first, it made me feel uneasy, but I found something I was going to write about in the process.
I’m going to use myself as an example. Some time ago, I decided to write something everyday, because I heard it helps you improve your writing. So, I set out on the quest to write every day to improve my writing. It was hard at first, but I got hooked and didn’t feel normal going to bed without writing.
I didn’t notice any improvements in my writing immediately. I just kept writing out of habit, and that’s how I continued. Until one day, I stumbled on an old content I had written previously, and was amazed by how better my articles read.
I started to enjoy reading my content, and in between reading, I’ll be like, “hmmm, this guy!” It was a good feeling actually enjoying what I had written because I felt like, for me to enjoy my articles, it meant that people reading it would find them enjoyable too. So, I continued.
Then another day, I proofread an article from one of my team members and saw how my little touch had improved the way the content read, and I was impressed.
I could see how I was getting better, all because I had sat down to improve by 1% every day.
And this is what you should do to get better.
Learn to listen to yourself and connect patterns, read, and most importantly, write every day.
And soon enough, you’ll see how much improvement you’ve made.
