The human mind cannot be quenched,
it does not know enough.

You look around at things you have,
and cannot stop your wants.

It’s always something new in store,
that isn’t your possession yet.

But greed can be a vicious path,
one that’s hard to walk back from.

The problem isn’t things you need,
it’s always wanting more.

The key to breaking free is holding back,
and taking time to practice thanks.

Then you’ll finally see, that less is more,
you didn’t need that much.
