The Nostalgia of the Infinite by Giorgio de Chirico. Public Domain

How could I possibly say I lived a life?

I haven’t found any hands to gift

My poetry book of one poem

That keeps erasing

Into c r a c k s

Of self

Annihilation

Reappearing on the

Other side of drop-suns of war

Unrecognizable ** Ununderstood

Dreaming of hands that can remember

~
