What is Reality?
Reality is what is. It’s not what isn’t.
Whenever someone surprises you with a concept you didn’t realize, they say, “Welcome to reality!” Their glee in your disappointment aside, they make it sound like that concept can’t be changed. They seem to hope it’s something that can’t be improved. They delight in your shock and disappointment. At least they hope they do.
They’re the type of person that walks around popping balloons.
It’s usually a political discussion.
Did I say discussion? I mean rant.
Whenever you’re in a political argument, remember there is a 100% chance that the other person doesn’t know as much as they think they know. If they were truly wise and intelligent, they wouldn’t be arguing. They’d shut up long enough to learn something before rebutting, and it would be a discussion.

It’s true. Reality is this thing that’s there whether you like it or not. Yet, reality isn’t an unbreakable, unchangeable rock. It can be molded.
