SHE
She used to have a happy face,
Till the time she used to play.
But the time slowly passed,
She grew into a mature girl.
She wanted to fly to the northern star,
But the society snapped her dreams apart,
Yet, she fought for her freedom.
She had the capability to be above the wonders,
But people started pointing her out,
For not being the frog of the pond.
She was different of all,
And so she heard of her heart.
This was her biggest mistake in their eyes.
They slapped her life off,
She still had hopes of achieving something,
But society crushed her dreams with the pestle and mortar.
She was waiting for a miracle to happen,
Closed her eyes and nothing happened.
Society says, “she was weak”,
And her soul screamed, “you made me weak”.
She wanted to live and make them proud,
But turned out to be a curse to the youth.
She wasn't a curse anyhow,
She tried to be the hero of her life.
