There is blankets on my legs

I hear birds chirping outside my window

The sun peeks in through the blinds

I am alive

There is a morning chill as I kneel to pray

There is beauty in the stillness of my apartment

I hear the distant traffic lightly roaring

The bright sky catches my eye

I take it all in

I am ready
