The sun and her rays
A poem

There will be days
when the sun wakes up
and forgets to wear a smile
or glowing serum
There will be days
when the sun crawls out
on the wrong side of the bed
There will be days
The world won’t feel her rays
and clouds will be like obstacles
There will be days when
she has to work from home
and won’t have to worry about
being radiant
She will shine just enough
to bring light into our days
to fight through the clouds
to let the world know
It has to keep moving!
