What happens when you let your ego win
Ego doesn't let you admit the truth. It makes you repeat the same lie to yourself and others till you start believing it.
Ego makes up false stories to blame others and to prevent yourself from being vulnerable or addressing your fears or faults.
Ego wants to be right all the time. It turns a deaf ear to all the truth in the world.
Feed your ego just to keep your emotions safe and you could ruin something beautiful.
Misjudge every mistimed, unintentional, innocent comment and your ego will prevent you from seeing the truth. It will prevent you from taking chances and giving chances.
Your ego tells you that the same pattern will repeat itself so don't ever believe anyone, seek validation elsewhere and settle for what makes you feel good instead of what is good for you.
When you believe all this, you let your ego win.
And when your ego wins, its not just the other person’s loss, it’s your loss too.
