Self-Love will enhance your life and others around you

Self-love will refine you. Life becomes easier, you are more of an effective and confident individual. Most importantly to me, your ability to love others improves impeccably.

We are great consumers, we tend to adapt to the environment and personnel we become accustomed too. Displaying self-love will guide others around you to be more positive.

As we let our own light shine, we unconsciously give other people permission to do the same.

We tend to use the phrase “he, she or they love themselves” as an insult. Does this hinder the process of being able to love ourselves?

We automatically assume thinking highly of ourselves is to be “stuck up” or showing arrogance in away. I DISAGREE! There’s no need for a relationship between the two.

I think we should be able to express an unlimited amount of self-love, without being self-conscious about what others may think.

The foundation of happiness is been able to be happy with yourself. How can one be happy if there not happy with themselves?

Love yourself first and everything else falls into line. You really have to love yourself to get anything done in this world.– Lucille Ball

The main question here is “would you rather love or hate yourself?”

When I was around 18, I looked in the mirror and said, Your either going to love yourself or hate yourself, and I decided to love myself and that changed a lot — Queen Latifah

How To Start Loving Yourself

  • Be kinder to you – Think about someone in your life who you LOVE. You are kind and show empathy towards them, you care for them, you forgive them when they make mistake – Now imagine feeling that way towards yourself.
  • Accepting fault – no one is perfect, yes we all have flaws. They make us human.

  • Your thoughts are only thoughts – we get so caught up with our thoughts, we are humans, our brains work in strange ways. Take a step back from your thoughts, and acknowledge them for what they are.

Meditation really helps you to master this technique. In my practice, it has given me more clarity about myself and life as a whole. Definitely leading to having a different perspective of the world.

I could sell mediation for days, another article perhaps;

  • Having a purpose – ask yourself what do I want from life? Do you have a specific goal or objective? So many of us just condemn what we think we should be doing.
