This trick is for you if you are failing to be consistent at something you really want to do.

If you want to get healthy, just walk for a minute daily.

If you want to read more books, just read one minute daily.

If you want to meditate, just do it for one minute daily.

For any habit to be formed, you need 3 Ingredients — Time, Place & Resources.

If you want to walk for 1 minute, you need to consciously think of where you want to walk, what time you want to walk and of course, hoping you have two legs, you have the resources too.

Similarly with Books and Meditation. For books, you are forced to buy books in the first place. With meditation, you are forced to find a time between your work or before or after work.

Once you start being consistent with 1-minute routines, your habits start to form. You will also be forced not to quit the routine, because well, it’s just 1 minute.

If you are missing this 1 minute, it’s not because you dint find the time. But it’s because you didn’t plan well to keep it consistent. Again this 1-minute routine will help you set it up.

So start today with your 1-minute plan and keep improving the time as you go(but never break the routine again).
