Women Can Never Win
The message is always the same: our standards of beauty have changed, and not for the better.
Beauty standards in the past maybe have been different than today, but that doesn’t mean they were better. They still offered a narrow, rigid idea about what made a woman attractive, and anyone who didn’t fit that ideal was not good enough.
