What steps are we taking to ensure we are supporting both students and teachers?

We are all many months into this pandemic now. For many in the US, they are “moving on” and ignoring the skyrocketing daily numbers. And many are practicing safety measures — doing what they can with their resources. But what does this look like in schools?

We have to ask ourselves some reflective questions here. Since the beginning of the pandemic, have we invested in better systems for virtual or hybrid learning? If yes, do these investments keep the learners in mind or the test scores? Have we done enough to ensure the safety of our learners? These are just a few of many questions we can ask about the state of education during the pandemic.
