It’s part of the story.

We often admire the warm beautiful radiation of the noon sun. The way it brightens everywhere makes all of us feel the vibe of the day. But have we ever reminisced that the bright noon sun started rising from the dawn?

That’s it. The present location or height of anything had a beginning. And we shouldn’t let the present glamor cloud our eyes from its humble genesis. It is nevertheless part of the story. Nobody’s story is incomplete without the starting point.

I have noticed something: Most people chop off the story of when they started from the rendition of their achievements. We talk of how we now make six-figures per every four-four days. We talk about how we have scaled our businesses and generate 92% ROI.

LinkedIn people are good at that. Posting achievements back to back. And that’s good. Anybody who paid the price through diligence should be proud enough to post it. They deserve it. The world needs to celebrate them.

However, one thing often discouraged those who are coming up - which I have been a victim of. That’s how they encounter setbacks that their mentors or role models never talked about. At that point, they start to doubt their intelligence.
