City Clerk Releases Candidate Videos For November 8 Election
These three videos will allow voters to hear directly from those seeking a seat on the LAUSD School Board. Kelly Gonez did not participate.

As part of the Los Angeles City Clerk’s mission to provide information to voters, each candidate running for an LAUSD School Board seat is given the opportunity to record a video. These videos are played on the city’s television station, LA CityView 35, and distributed on the clerk’s YouTube channel. There is no cost to the candidates for participating in this program. The videos’ production and distribution are provided as a public service.
The three non-incumbents in the November runoff election all recorded videos, which are embedded below. As with the primary election, Kelly Gonez did not provide a video. The LAUSD School Board President did not even bother to give voters her contact information so that they could ask questions. This should not be surprising given Gonez’s propensity for ignoring public speakers during LAUSD Board meetings.
