Creating Your Soothing Routine For 5 Senses
Encouragement and advice to find your body and mind’s balance
Finding comfort and hope helps you to feel good and optimistic. Your mind and body communicate with each other to produce your moods. Your senses are the first entrance points to create feelings.
If you’re feeling stressed, calming your senses help. This is my nourishing senses practice…
Sight
Clothing. I like to wear soothing, and easy on the eye brown colors, as they’re earthy colors that comfort. These days no one is fashion conscious or earning points for avant-garde outfits. In some places, the winter clothes are staying available because there’s still snow in parts of the country.
Watching. What you visually take in will create images, feelings, and moods.
I watch quick motion food creation videos such as Tasty, that are relaxing. They calm because they’re visually appealing and you can come up with a creative end product, shown in 20 seconds or less.
I observe outside nature, like trees shedding flowers and leaves.
I also watch nature shows. In May, outside you can see roses and peonies that are natures’ miracles. You can appreciate their presence for a short time and then they disappear until the season reappears.
