Do You Hide Your Homelessness in Your Work?
I do now. I was honest, but it gives wrong signals
We are the designers of a homelessness project. Ecology and economy. I’m an economist turned ecologist.
Restoring soils and water sheds to health, building our own off-grid homes, and raising our kids. It’s also a financial concept of feedback loops in a very wealthy country. It’s financed by two future inheritors (2 women/mothers) and their wealthy dad Peter. Best friend of Mike since the age of 10.
Friendships survive everything!
Our wealthy country full of normal poverty is rural the Netherlands. Limburg. We try to preventing colonization of farmer villages and towns by wealthy city folks from the Randstad.
We restoring old values. Building families of friends. Simple LIFE.
We designed our project with our own hands. We are the makers! We are hugely technical, biological, and common sense people. We want our kids to have immune systems, so we build them some nature where excess of chemicals are not allowed.
It takes a village to raise a child.
So, we look after each others’ kids too.
