The Gifts you leave behind

My family isn’t big on leaving personal wealth behind. It could be because so many of my ancestors suffered from dementia and needed skilled nursing facilities. That spend-down clause of Medicaid doesn’t allow for asset transfers to the kids left behind.

But I digress.
