Whenever we see any magician showcasing his magic, the first thought that comes into our mind is how he did it? Or let’s take another example of Painter. We always see the final product and instantly think of how he did it?

David Bayles and Ted Orland wrote, “To all viewers but yourself, what matters is the product: the finished artwork. To you, and you alone, what matters is the process: the experience of shaping the artwork.”

Every human being is interested in other human beings and what other human beings do. In the era of the Internet, one can easily share his artwork, show the detailed process, give some pre insights of the product that he/she is working on, etc. By sharing day-to-day processes, the thing artists really care about is they can form a unique bond with the audience.

Dan Provost and Tom Gerhardt once mentioned that “By putting things out there, consistently, you can form a relationship with your customers. It allows customers to see the person behind the products.”
