Me: Do you want to go to Betterville with me?

Most industry folks I talk to (MIFITT): Um, where’s that?

Me: It’s that place where everything is, you know, better.

MIFITT: Better how? [Tilts head, leery yet curious.] What do you mean?

Me: I mean, businesses only generate revenue by restoring ecosystems and by making individuals and communities healthier. Market incentives drive bioregional integrity. People profit from lasting inner and outer peace. That sort of thing.

MIFITT: Pfff! What on earth…?

Me: Exactly! On earth. That’s what I’m saying. Well…? Do you want to join me?

This is NOT visualization. Also: it’s NOT positive psychology.

You’ve likely heard of sports psychologists, futurists, and others talking about the power of visualization to bring a new reality into being. They say that visualization is a helpful tool to imagine success and make it so. There’s lots of cool research to back that up.

I’m not talking about visualization, though.
