Doctor Who fans know that space/time is a wibbly-wobbley timey-wimey thing. To non-sci-fi enthusiasts, it’s when seconds feel like hours versus when time flies by at lightening speed. Both perspectives are true, yet it’s not always clear where you are in a given moment. Are you soaking in the seconds or lamenting the hours? There’s no right answer, but locating yourself in the context of the world around you, especially shared spaces, matters.

When your reality overlaps with another’s, details and perspective matter. So curate your seconds like your life depends on it — even under the toughest of constraints. My mind moves immediately to our siblings and souls behind bars. Suspend for a moment moral rectitude and the logic of who’s locked up and why. Humans in cages = bad. No creature on this planet should be denied freedom. Mental health support, earnest rehabilitation, and social safety nets are a must.

All that to say that while I’m enjoying my freedom in whatever forms are manifest, plotting and accepting my coordinates across fractal realities is an anchor for wellbeing. Things may not always be perfect, but they could easily be worse.
