The fundamental connection between body and mind has grown popular in recent years. If you, for instance, experience physical stress, you’ll also experience mental stress, and vice versa. This growing awareness of how our bodies and minds are ultimately interconnected is a great leap in our understanding of the nature of balance and well-being. Nonetheless, we may still not fully understand the great significance of this connection between body and mind because we are not yet fully familiar with its root; the concept of interconnectedness between not only mind and body but all existing things in our perceivable universe.

The reason why our mind is connected to our body is the same reason why our body is connected to the environment, and the same reason why they all influence each other. No healthy mind can thrive in an unhealthy body just like no healthy body can thrive in an unhealthy environment. And that is because, fundamentally, everything is interconnected.

And the reason why we need to bring this awareness of interconnectedness into our consciousness is because this may be the key to not only creating well-being for ourselves, but for our planet as a whole.
