You’re Not The Toxic Friend.
A few weeks ago, I apologized to a few friends for being toxic. The more I’ve thought about it, though, the more it’s bugged me. Not the apology itself. I was (and am) genuinely remorseful for how I’ve acted toward all of them. More so that apologizing to people is second nature to me. The words may have changed, but apologies have been a ridiculously prevalent part of my life.
