Dear God, What Were You Thinking When You Created Women?
A formal (yet heartfelt) complaint letter to the Designer of our bodies.
Dear God,
I intended to write this letter months ago. However, after spending countless hours every day working with women and their hormonal imbalances, I guess I am as exhausted as they are. Thus, days and weeks go by, and I keep putting this task on the back burner.
Today I woke up especially early, and I’ve decided to spend my solo coffee time with you and share my observations regarding some hard-to-overlook ‘design flaws’ in a woman’s body.
You know I don’t whine too much, and you must admit I handle most issues with reasonable equanimity and grace, but there are days. And yesterday was one of those days in which I spent nine hours listening to women sharing their hormonal havoc with me. This prompted me to write this letter while enjoying your majestic sunrise along with my cup of coffee.
I know, I know. I am far too sporadic when it comes to talking to you; I should do it more often and not only when I rant, but I am confident you don’t hold that against me.
