Empty

A Poem

Empty walls and empty hearts.
Empty memories and empty stories.

Picture frames with no pictures
in them, a book full of prayers I can’t remember,
Amen.

Old rocks picked up from some old beach,
nothing more, no memory within my reach,
everything is washed in bleach.

White canvas, empty canvas
white paint, paintings drowned in rain
water, falling down an endless crater,
pain.

Empty.
