Goodbye Summer
Welcoming the autumn days ahead
It’s closer to fall than summer in the Northwest city where I live, but around this time of year every day is a guessing game. It looks cloudy, but is that because it’s smoky? The summer fires that blow towards us from all directions confuse our senses. In the morning it looks like a typical gray Northwest sky, and by the afternoon temperatures hit 70 degrees.
