Major Publication Branding Update and Celebrating Motherhood
May 7th, 2022 Newsletter
Happy Mother’s Day and Happy Weekend, All!
Yes…you are at the right publication!
In this week’s big news, we are rebranding Age of Empathy. New name, new look. In an effort to increase readership for our writers, I wanted to find a name more reflective of all creative nonfiction essays to avoid any confusion that we are looking for pieces that just come from a mental health aspect/place of empathy, etc.
The Narrative Collective.
We will maintain the same mission and same elements of the publication — you’ll just notice changes in the branding. I’m still in the process of updating the branding in various areas, so right now we are bit of an Age of Empathy-Narrative combo.
We’ve had some great stories come through our Motherhood prompt! I encourage you to check out the following:
- My Dance With the Topsy-Turvy Love of a Mother by Sally Prag
- On Music & Motherhood by Whitney Waddell
- Embracing the Minivan by Suzanne Johnson
- Motherhood: An Empty Nest by KiKi Walter
- What Happens When a Pianist Becomes a Grocer? by Jill Ebstein
- Please Stop Telling Moms to Cherish Every Moment by Christine Greenwald
