As you may have noticed, there’ve been a lot of little changes going on — I hope you’re enjoying them. Please feel free to share your feedback! Since I can be way too wordy when I write, I’m just going to jump write in with the info.
May Prompt: Motherhood
We have a new prompt — and you can start submitting your pieces now! In the spirit of Mother’s Day upcoming in the U.S., our essay topic is motherhood. Here are your guidelines:
- It can be either a personal or humor essay.
- It can be anything to do with motherhood: Your mother, you, someone you know, wishing you could be a mother, adoption, loss, love, lessons, etc.
- It is not limited to gender. “Mother” can mean a lot of things to a lot of people.
- Please tag your piece “motherhood.”
