About a month ago my seven-year-old granddaughter came up to me and said “Pops, can you tell me what it was like when you were my age, back in the olden days ?” I was taken a little off guard. I smiled and said “Sure,” but inside I was thinking “Holy shit. My childhood is now the olden days?”
