Tough times won’t last
Is such a consolation
In times of rejections
Accompanied by frustrations
Left with a few more options
Giving up can’t be one

Seeing the yellow sun rise
The solo moon fading from sight
Yet unsettling the tides
I’ll rise with the sun
Each day a new race to run
And when the day goes black
My thoughts with it going blank
When the sun hides behind the cloud
Seeing the moon rejoicing with the stars
I’ll turn to sober reflection
The night owl my inspiration
As it perches from a silent flight
I’ll watch it hoot
With bulging eyes of introspection
Claiming its space
Hunting for prey
There lies intuition
Building on strengths
Clinging onto sharp vision
Harkening to sounds of corrections
Then await the break of dawn
