Why I Love the Silence of Snow

For a short time, everything feels right in the world

I hate weather below 32°F with every fiber of my soul. Once my body is cold, my bones rattle and I feel like I’m 90 years old. So I throw on fifty layers of sweaters and jackets. Warmth is elusive, and I feel bulky and uncomfortable. And my bones still shiver.
