Understanding and delivering on “Episode 000”
Episode 000 is the introduction to the Agency Methodology.
In it we break down the essential elements and give you your first assignment: Sending in a dream.
Agency is about harvesting your excitement and channeling it into production — we’ll explore practical tools and steps to break through concrete and psychological barriers that stand in your way as you challenge yourself to materialize your inspirations and suspicions into actual creations that add value to the world.
You’ll be introduced to our four pillars: Observation, Research, Process and Delivery and one exploration exercise that uses all of them. Read more to find out how to send your result to get access to the Agency community.
This is the first step in a journey that condensates over 10 years of experience facilitating creative communities, art collectives, and companies. The Agency Methodology is free. Feel free to lurk at will!
- For the first few minutes we explore the goals of the program, now to navigate the DAO and a little bit of my backstory.
- At 05:25 we explore OBSERVATION — when you leave a trace — looking for meaning — hidden stories — the joy of snapshots
- At 07:35 we move on to RESEARCH — stepping out of tunnel vision — exploring our curiosity — following a path — diligence — making all the difference
- At 09:40 it’s time for PROCESS — — delivery over technique — thinking like artists, not professionals — we want unique, not perfection — focus on doing it — learn by enjoyment
- At 12:20, finally we get to DELIVERY — the bottleneck between what you do, and what you deliver to the world
- At 16:45 we present the first assignment through which you will discover the dream you will send to the DAO.
How to send in your assignments?
You can upload your assignments and creations directly to our board in Miro for community feedback
To collect your reward or make other proposals you need to use the FestDAO on Alchemy — but due to the momentary overload of the ethereum network we recommend you use Miro until we find an alternative — in that way we can keep track of creations and achievements and get it all on chain soon.
Where does the Agency Community live?
Agency is a ‘growing’ environment where you are rewarded for facing yourself — you’re the one who does the growing. We’ll use a DAO based community to move forward when it comes to rewarding reputation and currency, as well as curating our efforts into powerful content- but the relational surface is much larger:
