PMG Gives Back, our philanthropic company initiative, has been busy during Q1 looking for new ways for us to get out in the community and give back. We’re always on the hunt for causes that are near and dear to PMGers.

Each month, PMG hosts a game night at Cook Children’s and our team members get to spend time playing board games with the patient’s families. This night is very special each month as it allows the families to spend a worry-free night laughing and interacting with members of our PMG family. We’re honored to have the opportunity to support Cook Children’s as not only a client but an organization that is close to many PMGers.

The PMG Gives Back team also spent time volunteering at MHMR of Tarrant County as a part of our monthly outreach initiatives. During Q1 we enjoyed spending time at our local MHMR playing pool, bocce ball, and corn hole.

PMG Gives Back has also brought some exciting announcements and new opportunities to fruition during Q1. We’re very excited to announce the PMG’s first annual Day of Giving will take place this June. We will be participating in a company-wide day of giving, where we are going to take a half-day to get out in the community and volunteer. Several PMGers have been hard at work looking for local organizations that we could partner with during this special day. We’re excited to get out in the local Fort Worth, Austin and London communities, and volunteer.

“PMG’s Day of Giving is going to be one of our most exciting events this year! I am thrilled to be planning an event with the PMG Gives Back team that will get everyone involved in giving back to the community,” said Pam Buyers, PMG’s head of culture.

We’re also looking forward to finding small causes that are very easy to support throughout 2018. If that is a donation drive or a couple of hours volunteering at our local food bank PMG Gives Back will make it happen. Our first monthly initiative is actually a donation drive to support the Appalachian Wildlife Refuge’s Wands for Wildlife. We’re going to be collecting recycled and clean mascara wands that will be used to help remove any unwelcome bugs from the fur of wild animals.

Something that makes PMG very special is opportunities to support causes that are very close to our hearts. The PMG Gives Back team is very open to finding new causes and organizations to support and is always willing to help support PMGers support causes that they are passionate about. We’re very excited for what 2018 will bring for our PMG Gives Back team and the company as a whole.
