We’ve flicked through several pages, going through many books over the past year; from insightful self-help books, harrowing horror novels and great works of literature. We’ve met, loved, hated and empathised with hundreds of fictional characters as we followed them through their discoveries, revelations and ordeals. With so many great stories to choose from, making a list of The top 10 Best Sellers of 2018 proved quite a challenge!

Eleanor Oliphant is Completely Fine — Gail Honeyman

Eleanor isn’t exactly winning any popularity contests, she’s a blunt but quirky social misfit who rigorously schedules her life like an overzealous librarian. Everything’s just fine and she likes it that way, thank you very much. As a result, Wolff was able to witness first hand some of the most controversial moments of Trump’s presidency.

Noah Harari is primarily a historian, as a result, his takes on the deeper questions offer a grounded and logical perspective. Homo Deus has and continues, to gain popularity in academic literary circles. A great read for anyone with an interest in philosophy!
