With that, Lanna headed along the walkway towards what appeared to be a dead end. But as she reached it, a set of book laden shelves opened inward like some clichéd secret door. It led, not surprisingly, to a secret passageway. The five stepped inside and the door closed behind them leaving them in complete darkness. After a second or two, strips of LED lights illuminated either side of the floor, revealing a long corridor of about two meter wide. The blonde sandstone walls, floor and ceiling looked freshly cut, giving a feeling of a modern hotel rather than an ancient castle. Lanna and the two Joes walked off slowly together while Alex and April took the chance to whisper.
